TEDxBeirut have started uploading the talks from the 2012 edition on their website and YouTube.

For those of you who missed the live event, if you watch one talk online, watch this one by Christopher Littlefield.

Littlefield is a street researcher and consultant who has spent the last four years conducting over 350 street interviews around the globe in an attempt to understand the human experience of giving and receiving recognition.

In this lively talk, he exposes our hidden, conflicting relationship to recognition. He discusses how we actually aren’t very good at accepting compliments and how we often don’t even know it, and explains how a simple act of recognition can make a difference in someone’s life.
