Dear Mr. President, Remember Your Words
During his 4 June 2009 speech at Cairo university, US President Barack Obama stated: “Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail.”
On 31 May 2010, Israel raided the Gaza-bound Freedom Flotilla of aid and supplies in international waters, killing at least nine activists, leaving many more injured, and taking hundreds into custody. The Flotilla was attempting to break the siege Israel’s imposed on the Palestinian enclave since June 2007.
Hasn’t Israel’s impunity gone long enough? Dear Mr. Barack Obama, remember your words.
